The Barford TM550 Heavy Duty Rock Trommel is a powerhouse screening solution engineered for the toughest material applications. Powered by a CAT 3.6 T4/S5 100kW engine, it features a hydraulic reciprocating feeder and a massive 12.5m³ (16.5 yd³) hopper for high-volume throughput. Its rugged, fully welded drum design supports changeable screens and measures 1.5m x 5m (4’9” x 16’4”), with a 3.4m (11’1”) long fines section for precise material separation. The TM550 includes a 1200mm wide ripstop oversize conveyor capable of handling rocks up to 800mm (32”), a 1000mm mid-size conveyor for material up to 450mm (18”), and a 1000mm fines conveyor for finer output. Built to tackle blasted rock, limestone, concrete demolition waste, sticky clay, riprap, armor rock, and even steel slag, this trommel is made for extreme performance. Optional features include Dual Power, a Tipping Grid, and Wireless Remote control.
